JILL: Dad, is asking alright?
THOMAS: Asking is not always an approved manner, Jill, neither is it also off beam
JILL: Some people are always asking, I guess.
THOMAS: Yes. God’s word says that everyone who asks, seek and knock will surely have it.
JILL: Yup, I read that. But some would rather do something unusual at the outset than ask.
THOMAS: Yes, such people would try to long, desire, even wish than ask.
JILL: How should it be Dad?
THOMAS: God’s word tells us to ask appropriately.
JILL: What then are fitting to ask?
THOMAS: So simple. Ask for wisdom.
JILL: Then we’ll get wise?
THOMAS: Much better, ask for the Holy Spirit.
JILL: And get His gifts.
THOMAS: Or anything real, Jill.
JILL: That’s a good approach.
THOMAS: Also, when you ask, realize you lack, meaning, you really require it.
JILL: You mean out of poverty, is it?
THOMAS: One thing more, Jill, ask with moral appreciation and spiritual understanding.
JILL: How, Dad?
THOMAS: Ask God with awareness of Him and in positive reception. That will honor Him much.
JILL: Oh yes, so now I’ll try to ask in heartfelt prayer for genuine requests in Jesus’ name.
THOMAS: That’s right, my good girl. Expect His promise of getting the answer sooner than expected.
JILL: Wow, sure.
